Andy Cherna is the managing partner and founder of Dorset Mountain Partners. Prior, Mr. Cherna was the global head of Structured Product Syndicate and vice chairman of the structured product underwriting and risk committee at JPMorgan Securities, LLC.

Structured Product Syndicate is responsible for the global distribution of asset-backed securities, non-agency residential mortgage-backed securities, commercial mortgage-backed securities, and collateral loan obligations.

Prior to joining JPMorgan, Mr. Cherna headed Fixed Income Syndicate at Banc One Capital Markets in Chicago. Mr. Cherna started his career as a mortgage-backed securities trader at McDonald and Company Securities in Cleveland, Ohio.

Mr. Cherna holds a BA from Middlebury College and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
